A regular check-up by a specialist for internal medicine and cardiology is essential for anyone who wants to perform sport in a healthy and effective way. Sports medical performance diagnostics make it possible to accurately determine performance capacity and appropriate training intensity, especially for people with a high risk for cardiovascular disease (for example high blood pressure, circulatory disorders or overweight). The better you know your own body and risk factors, the easier it is to compile a target-oriented personal fitness and training plan.
Our sports medical check-up is intended for all athletes who wish to make their training more efficient: recreational, amateur and high-performance athletes, as well as people resuming sporting activity after a sport-free interval
The fitness test takes about one hour and includes the following:
detailed consultation concerning current symptoms, previous illnesses, stress situations; physical examination to identify any sports-relevant risks; body fat analysis; resting ECG; pulmonary function test at rest; spiroergometry including stress ECG with breath gas analysis on the ergometer; concluding consultation with analysis and evaluation of the test results and training recommendations for the following weeks.
